Mystery Tour

Mystery Tour is the new project by Sara Longo and the Venetian double bassist and multi-instrumentalist Alvise Seggi.

The project arises from the shared passion of the two artists for Beatles’ songs, reinterpreted with a personal and delicate stylistic touch. It’s not just about the Fab Four though; the concert and the album also include original pieces and are contaminated by contemporary music, with tributes to Carla Bley, Mercedes Sosa, and others. The essential nature that characterizes the duo allows the two musicians to navigate with a smooth and experienced interplay, blending hypnotic cello drones and skillful use of effects, occasionally venturing into musical territories reminiscent of the early Mississippi blues.
